As a long time animal rescuer, I thought I had seen and dealt with most canine behavioral issues over the years until Carmela came into our rescue and I decided to personally adopt her. This five month old English Bull dog threw every unacceptable behavioral issue at me and no training method I had tried in the past or researched frantically had any effect whatsoever on this dog. My commitment to this girl was set in stone, as she was scheduled to be euthanized due to a congenital heart defect before I rescued her and my goal was and is to give her the best quality of life for her remaining time on earth. My veterinarian recommended Wendy and within one week after our initial consultation, Carmela was a changed girl! Wendy's gentle methods and common sense approach absolutely work! Wendy understands dogs and why they do what they do, but most importantly she understands people and that is the essence of her success. I am astounded at how Carmela has turned the corner, she is eager to please, loves the positive reinforcement our training sessions provide and is such a happy puppy these days...more importantly I am over the moon with how easy and how much fun Wendy made these sessions. Simple words, short periods of repetitive work, lots of treats and praise and Carmela's aggressive/possessive tendencies disappeared. So many folks automatically shelve the idea of formal dog training because of time constraints and the preconceived notion that hours must be dedicated to "doing it right" . Wendy's way of training totally destroys this myth. She taught me most of all that consistency, patience and gentle reinforcement are truly the building blocks of success to sharing a wonderful relationship with any dog. Truth be told, I don't know who looks forward to Wendy's training sessions most, me or Carmela!

Dear Wendy,Thank you so much for your help with Rusty's behavior problems. He is so much better now that we are consistently using your "gentle" methods. He has stopped jumping up on people and those "love bites" are less frequent. He's much better on a walk also. We are still working on his manners when we are eating but I'm sure with a little more time he will improve. Rusty thanks you too for teaching us how to
communicate with him - he's not getting hollered at as much. Thanks again.

I highly recommend Wendyís positive reinforcement training. I have utilized all her training avenues, her training class, phone consultations and she has been to our home for personalized training with my two dogs and also for Gus the dog Iím fostering for RAP (Rescue Animal Placements). As a rescue volunteer I canít say enough how important the right kind of training is. Gus came to me with some behavioral issues; heís really improving with the training exercises Wendy gave us. I now feel confident placing Gus in his new home. Wendy also gave me insightful suggestions to make Gusís transition to his new home less stressful.
Thank You Wendy!
Dear Wendy: We cannot thank you enough for donating your time and knowledge helping us to rehabilitate Bubbles. She was wild at best when we met her, yet within two session with you we were amazed at the difference in her ability to socialize and focus her attention. Thank you for changing the lives of both dog and their companions in such a positive way!
